COMPUTATIONAL GENE FINDING IN PROKARYOTES AND EUKARYOTES
Welcome to the gene finding exercise. The exercise consist of three
parts, in part I GeneMark is used for gene identification in a prokaryotic
gene, in part II you have to identify the gene structure of a human gene
using a selection of gene predicting systems and in part III you can analyze
a sequence of your choice using any method you want.
Depending on your interests you can choose to do part I or part II first.
Part I: Prokaryotes
Part II: Eukaryotes
Part III: Try other tools or find
genes in your own sequence
