Setting up your PC to work with unix (SSH/Xwin32)
Download the ssh program from the ssh.com homepage and the Xwin32 from the
dtu homepage (only available from within dtu). You can find a description
of how to do it
here
Firstly: If you dont have a blue X on the task bar
(normally found at the bottom of your screen)
double click on the X-Win32 icon
(it is loaded by default on the student laptops - if it is allready loaded dont
click on it, it will mess things up).
Click on the SSH Secure Shell
Client and chose File>Quick Connect. Fill in Host: "genome.cbs.dtu.dk",
and your username at CBS. You will then be prompted for your password.
To transfer files click on the Window>New File Transfer. You can now copy files
between the PC and the unix computer by drag-drop.
