Applying Next Generation Sequencing for studying ancient DNA

The metagenomics group and the Next Generation Sequence analysis course is hosting a talk by Professor Eske Willerslev from Centre of GeoGenetics at the University of Copenhagen.

Eske Willerslev is director of the Centre of Excellence in GeoGenetics and has pioneered the field of evolutionary biology and ancient DNA utilizing Next Generation Sequencing. He will talk on the topic of applying Next Generation Sequencing for studying ancient DNA.
