Data sets

Much effort have been put into the creation of datasets for training of the SignalP method. More indepth information of the generation of the data sets can be found in the different articles published together with each version of SignalP. The articles can be found on the abstract page.

Training set for version 1.0

The training set for SignalP version 1.0 was extracted from Swiss-Prot release 29 and can be downloaded here.

Training set for version 2.0

The training set for SignalP version 2.0 was extracted from Swiss-Prot release 35 and can be downloaded here.

Training set for version 3.0

The training set for SignalP version 3.0 is not yet publicly available.
