It is the purpose of the lecture for you to learn the following:

1. An overview of the various types of DNA Structures.


2. To be able to predict which DNA sequences will readily melt. and why (it's not just AT content!)


3. To understand the possible role of different DNA structural motifs in promoters, and their biological significance.
